Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) COVID-19 surveillance is conducted year-round. The goal of this surveillance is to provide metrics and information on COVID-19 impact in the community and public health response. This includes metrics for Washoe County case counts, hospitalizations, deaths, and immunization information. The final monthly COVID-19 report was published in July 2024 for June 2024 data. Starting in October 2024, COVID-19 is no longer a stand-alone program and will be incorporated into a single weekly viral respiratory report along with influenza and RSV. These reports and further information can be found at NNPH’s Viral Respiratory Surveillance page. Prior COVID-19 reports are maintained on this webpage.
