Chad Kingsley, MD, MBA, is the District Health Officer for Northern Nevada Public Health, which is responsible for protecting the health of about 500,000 County residents and 4.5 million annual visitors.

Prior to Mr. Kingsley's appointment as Health Officer in 2024, he served as the Public Health Director for Mohave County, Ariz. Previously, he was the Regional Trauma Director and the ICS-COVID-19 Director of Disease Containment for Southern Nevada Health District in Las Vegas.

Mr. Kingsley earned a Medical Degree (MD) from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and was a clinical physician, local health officer and medical resident at the Sec. de Salud Sonora. Mr. Kingsley also earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University and a Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation from Arizona State University. His Bachelor of Arts (BA) is in Spanish from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
