For Providers & Partners
Northern Nevada Public Health's Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program has Registered Dietitians, Breastfeeding specialist (IBCLC) and trained paraprofessional staff, who provide nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthy foods, and other support to low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and young children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk.
As a healthcare or community provider, you can refer your clients to the WIC program that can help them support a healthy diet and avoid food insecurity.
