Make Payment Online

You may make payment online, anytime, through Accela One Regional Licensing and Permits (ACA). You must have an account to make payment online. 

Instructions:

  1. Once logged into ACA, click on the "Health District" tab near the top of the screen.
  2. Locate the "General Search" section.
    1. "Agency". Select "Washoe" from the dropdown menu.
    2. "Record/Permit Number". Enter the associated permit number (ex., AAIRXX-XXXX for Stationary Source Permits, ASBXX-XXXX for Acknowledgement of Asbestos Assessment, APCPXX-XXXX for Dust Control Permits).
    3. Select "Search" at the bottom of the screen.
  3. A screen will populate with record details associated with the permit number. Select "Payments", then "Fees".
  4. The lower portion of the screen will then populate with both outstanding and paid fees associated with the permit number.
  5. Under "Outstanding", select "Pay Fees" (highlighted blue).
  6. A new screen will populate with the invoice. Select "Check Out" near the bottom of the screen.
  7. A new screen will populate. Select "Checkout".
    1. If you are making a payment for more than one permit, select "Continue Shopping" to add additional permit numbers following the steps above.
  8. You will be redirected to a third-party page. Follow the prompts to complete payment with an e-check or credit card. All fields with a red asterisk (*) next to them are required. 
  9. Once the transaction is complete, you will have the option to print/save a receipt. The AQMD wil be notified that payment is complete and your permit will then be issued.

Make Payment Over the Phone

You may make payment with a credit card over the phone by calling the AQMD at (775) 784-7200 Option 0 Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. 

 

Make Payment with a Check or Money Order

Make checks and money orders payable to Northern Nevada Public Health, Air Quality Management Division or NNPH, AQMD. All payments need to reference an associated permit number (ex., AAIRXX-XXXX for Stationary Source Permits, ASBXX-XXXX for Acknowledgement of Asbestos Assessment, APCPXX-XXXX for Dust Control Permits).

Please note the AQMD does not have a front service counter; however, you may hand deliver payment to the AQMD drop box (reference location map below). Anything dropped off after 3:30pm will be processed the following business day.
