WSPA Vision:
Increase collaborative efforts to reduce rates of suicide-related deaths in Washoe County.
WSPA Mission:
To create a space for organizational collaboration to reduce suicide through lethal means safety education, impactful prevention measures, and policy changes throughout Washoe County.
To reduce instances of suicide among firearm owners with the use of targeted education and prevention measures.
Increase suicide prevention awareness and measures with emphasis on lethal means safety education, decreasing stigma surrounding mental health and policy initiatives.
